CIA Director Leon Panetta says former Vice President Dick Cheney’s criticism of the Obama administration’s approach to terrorism almost suggests “he’s wishing that this country would be attacked again, in order to make his point.”

Panetta’s statement shows that is ignorance is infinite. I’d feel a lot better if we had a competent CIA, and a competent head of the CIA, but instead we have a dysfunctional, politicized cesspool. They are not professionals.

Cheney knows more about national security than Obama and his entire administration. Dick Cheney is a national treasure, and if he’s worried, we should all be worried.

Panetta’s statement is so far out of bounds that the enemy must be happy he’s running the CIA.
