I don’t trust anything Netanyahu says because he’s given away sacred land in the past & has shown no repentance.
& I don’t like any of the speeches given by mainstream leaders because they all start with the premise that the Palestinians will get their land when they behave in the future. So basically they have accepted that the land is indeed Palestinian & we’re just occupying it as punishment for their behavior. I am against giving them any of our Jewish land even if they are the nicest people in the world. In fact, maybe I should be thankful the Palestinans are the way they are. I cringe to think of how much more of our heritage would have been eagerly handed over to them if they were nice to us.
“I dont trust anything Netanyahu says because hes given away sacred land in the past & has shown no repentance...”
Bibi’s speech includes a mea culpa for you:
“In truth, I myself had to deal with the same fate. Following my erroneous and fatal decision to divide Hebron, abandoning most of the city to Arafat, and my subsequent signing of the Wye accords, I was defeated at the polls by a very wide margin. I also had to deal with personal challenges, having been investigated several times by the police for crimes that never occurred.
I have come to a realization that, whatever the price, Eretz Yisrael, the land of Israel, including Judea and Samaria, is an intrinsic element of our people. Our Land is a
G-d -given gift to our people, and it is not ours to give away, to anyone, at any time, for any price.”
Bibi is Israel’s last best hope for true peace through strength imho.
