My analysis: (it's like I wrote this speech for Bibi. Maybe I did. ;))

BIBI DID NOT ACQUIESCE. He did not use the term "two state solution," nor did he give high regard to Obama. Obama was mentioned in passing, not in respect. Bibi set up a scenario that the U.S. is being unreasonable to be pushing Israel to make "concessions" when the arabs DO NOT RECOGNIZE the state of ISRAEL. His conditions: the so-called palestinians can have their own area IF they recognize the state of ISRAEL and IF they are demilitarized. Neither of those things has ever happened and the U.S. is not pushing for this. Therefore, Bibi has made it clear that the U.S.'s demands on Israel are unreasonable.

Bibi is very clever in the way he can set things up. After Rabin was killed, Bibi was asked how he felt about it. He is alleged to have said something like, "I'm as sorry about it as Shimon Peres."

Actually, there were three non-negotiables:

1. Recognition of the Jewish State.

2. Demilitarization of any prospective Palestinian state.

3. Acknowledgment that Jerusalem is the undivided capital of Israel.

None of which the Arabs will accede to.

Sorry Obama. You’re just going to have to change some other part of the world.
