He has - by Christ's sacrifice and death. But, the bible describes Satan as the god of this world, and its prince. The demonic world boasts of his control, and every time you read the headlines, we know Satan holds the puppet strings.

God is sovereign, but until Christ casts the deceiver into the lake of fire, he is still here.
