Point of the lesson is that the youth of Iran have suddenly had to confront the truth that the ruling mullahocracy has zero regard for their vote. There is something to be said for this realization/awakening coming in an election where the differences in the candidates was merely a whisp. There can be no doubt that it was the vote of the people that was pissed upon by the mullahocracy, it had nothing to do with deep ideological threat to the mullahs! Now, with this awakening, perhhaps the Persian people will see why freedom is so valuable and so distant from them.

Sorry I don’t believe in the awakening of the Persian people. For years some have promised that there will be a populist uprising and that the Persian people did not want nukes and loved the US.

Thus we squandered years while they built their nukes. And now the moment is upon us and we are still chasing our tails dreaming of their awakening.

"Now, with this awakening, perhhaps the Persian people will see why freedom is so valuable and so distant from them."

Now when will the American people wake up & see the same thing?
