Liberals and socialists and their ilk haven't the basic element necessary for good comedy--as opposed to sarcasm--they can't laugh at themselves. They'll let you THINK they can, but they really take themselves very, very seriously, and believe that deep down, YOU'd really think they were awesome, too, if you just knew them well enough.

Obama's "humor" is paper-thin "politician" humor, and he doesn't seem the least-bit self-deprecating to me.
