Well, at least their voters have the guts to riot and protest when the vote is rigged, unlike another country I can think of.

I like the one month election cycle.
By this time in 2000, Hilliary had been running for 5 months.

Another smashing Obama foreign policy coup.
Yesterday President Mau-Mau was bragging that his groveling, weak-kneed, middling, piddling Cairo speech had precipitated a tidal wave of change in the Middle-East.
Now with this phony election, the Iranian Mullahs just flipped him a giant neon bird.

The One’s Cairo speech did a lot of good.

Does it really make any difference which terrorist won?
To: StilettoRaksha
Maybe Obama will shut up about how much “influence” his grovelling has had on our enemies.
(Like the chicks, though)

based on what little i know of Iran, Tehran is the ONLY city in the nation where people embrace Values that can be thought of as ‘western”. It is possible, i suppose that the people there were simply outvoted by the 13th Century types everywhere else.
To: StilettoRaksha
Anyone who thought that anyone would win but who the Mullahs wanted to win was mislead or ignorant.

Ah, Islamic "democracy", isn't it grand? It works fine as long as only one name is on the ballot, or if two, everyone votes for the dictator in charge.
I remember Saddam Hussiens "Democracy". Although his was the only name on the ballot, western America hating leftist media were claiming it was a valid democratic process.
We will be going through the same thing in 2012, although we sort of did already, due to massive ACORN vote fraud and ballot box tampering.
