Liberalism (leftism) has been destroying this country systematically and incrementally for DECADES. Do you really think people are going to "rise up" now, after everything that has happened? I doubt it. The people are asleep and dreaming. Liberalism has doped them into oblivion and obliviousness. We few here are all that's left of the mentality and values that made this country great.

We allowed the press to become pro-leftist, anti-liberty, AND anti-Christian. Our first mistake. We allowed the leftists to indoctrinate our children in public schools over the past five decades. Our second mistake. We then allowed the leftists to slime their way into the highest office, not once, but twice now. Our last, but probably fatal, mistake.

Since November 2006, and especially over the past five months, this country has been on a rapid downslide into destruction, led by the known socialists/communists in our government. What makes you think anyone will give a damn to "do anything", much less rise up, about it now?

Unless you can think of a way to wake the idiot majority of Americans up from their la-la-liberal-land slumber, I'm afraid we are doomed.

Yes. But... look at the revolution we are now living through. The sheeple sleep. Only the gang in power knows what it is doing. Revolutions belong to the minority. We need to retake that power and then do unto the Left what Stalin did unto us. But... it will take guts. Like Obama’s thugs. They have guts. Toughest bunch yet. We need to be tougher. They need to hurt like never before. Start in your neighborhood. Pay attention to the clown with the Obama bumper sticker. Where do they live? Where do they work? Who are they? Write it down. Pay attention. That information will become useful. (By the way, ACORN is doing this very thing right now, so be careful).

Not my point. I wasn’t discussing whether people are going to rise up now, I stated “MUST RISE UP”.

The negativism in your post reminds me of the Liberal in the sitcom throwing her arms into the air and screaming “I give up” when confronted by total insanity.

There are options such as not giving up. That is the option I will persue.

The evolution of the revolution began with President Woodrow Wilson in the early 1900's. Next was FDR who accelerated the process under the guise of ending The Great Depression. Obama is mimicking FDR to a great extent. Then LBJ outdid FDR. Next there was Jimmy Carter and then Slick Willie before we got to where we are.

Unfortunately, this administration seems to be the Left's best opportunity and they aren't wasting it. They are no longer trying to use stealth and take baby steps, they are openly ramming their agenda through.

However, now is not the time for apathy and pessimism, as justified as they may seem. If we don't do all we can to make our voices heard and stop this now we won't have another chance short of an uprising. So, write and call to politicians, newspapers, TV and radio stations, and attend all the political events you can. Also, make advertisers and stores know your distaste when they back the Left/Democrats. Don't give them your money.

There are enough of us out here to make the difference. We just need to let the rest know it.
