I got the distinct impression that she had generated a little respect from Lauer by the end of the interview. He seemed in awe of her.

After spending time with her family in AK Matt knows, despite not always agreeing with her, that she is authentic, not the politician du jour.

I was just going to mention the samething.

I will say Good job Gov. Palin. I would go even farther and say Gov. Palin owned Lauer in the interview. The interview showed Gov. Palin is looking long term when it comes to Nat. Gas. She scoffed at Lauer and the idea of lower gas prices then in turn injected National Security into the mix. That is leadership with a vision. “IF” Gov. Palin can incorporate this type of vision into other policy issues she will be unstoppable. From what I have seen she can and will do it. I am very Happy the REAL SARAH showed up today.

I didn’t know he had spent time with her in Alaska. Greta VanSustern came to love the Palins after spending time with them. I think they are bound to have a positive affect on people who are around them for awhile. They are so upbeat and genuine.
