As a Mensan I would say that having a high IQ does not indicate good judgment or common sense. Yep, I tried it for a few years too... had some fun at some gatherings (tons of beer), but was amazed at how many misfits were there.

As a Mensan I would say that having a high IQ does not indicate good judgment or common sense.And as a graduate of more than 15 years of university-level study with a doctorate degree, I'd say that being a university professor does not indicate good judgment, common sense, or intelligence. (Apparently, many people--notably the university professors themselves--seem to think that it does.)
