I listen to Doc Savage every now and again and agree with him most of the time.
BUT not this time. Last night he was on a rant over Sarah Palin and her possibly becoming the next US President.
He made it very clear of his disgust for her and said if Sarah got in, it would be for moree years of Obama.
How SO?????
Is not Alaska the only State in the Union that gives money back to its constituents. Has a much better Tax code and is doing everything to promote Alaska for the betterment of itself and the rest of the nation (read Gas pipeline for the lower 48) and more Drilling
This does not sound like Obama and any democrat that I know.
I am not sure what the Doc is on, but IMO he is way off base on this.
Good point, I wish I could like Palin, being that she seems to be a good conservative Governor. I learned to like Gorge W. Bush so anything is possible.
Perhaps. But since Alaska is Number One in receiving federal monies from the rest of us on a per capita basis, might I suggest that they consider taking a few dollars less from their fellow Americas, paying for the difference from the rebate they give their constituents?

It's probably pretty easy to throw money at constituents when you do it with OPM*, but I wouldn't brag about it.
The idea that Alaska and her politicians have enough to hand out annual refunds but ain't too proud to take more from the Feds is pretty laughable.
