Nonsense. You can gripe about the city if you want, but CMU is tops in what it does in terms of computer science, engineering and robotics.

LOL...on Mt. Oliver as Lesotho...oh that’s funny.
On Friday, have a bowl of MamaMalkin borscht; followed by a Blysma burrito. Wash it dahn with an Irhn. The ensuing gastric distress will be a great distraction if the ‘Guins loose. If they win...well...ya did your part for the HomeTeam!!! N’at!!!

Oh I don’t know . I believe that Cal TEch, MIT, Berkeley and a few other places beat CMU. Is it good? sure being second tier is not a bad thing

That’s first tier. They are in the same class as MIT and those others. Maybe Berkely has better beaches, but in terms of an engineering education and serious leaders in research, they are on the same tier.

And while three lefts will not make a right in this kind of terrain, the locals will be more than happy to give you good directions.
Like . . .You can't get there from here. ;-)
We even sometimes use landmarks that still exist. (Hang a right where the Gee Bees used to be.)
And don't exist. LOL. True story. These are the actual directions my Mom gave to my wife when we first moved back to Pittsburgh (Pittsburgh meaning the city and the entire surrounding communities)
Take a right at the gas station that is no longer there, where your Husband's brother used to get his gas.

>>Friendly people<<
We just got back from a trip to Hershey.
As a child, we traveled all through NY, PA, VA, MD and WV, with my Dad the Salesman.
I forgot how lovely PA is and how pretty and friendly the people of PA are. (but the tolls will kill you)
Here in MI, I miss it all a lot.

OK, but I have to warn you, we don’t have fireants, the signs are only in English, and humidity is something we only have three months a year. :-)

The roads look like theyve all been bombed Hey, after years of ranking #1 Pennsylvania actually is now rated by truckers as having only the a 2nd worst highways in the country.

Man that has to be a skewed report!
Who would rather live in the rust belt...with NO jobs
than in oil country where there are still jobs to be
had?
Yeesh!
