But Michelle Obama clearly felt something rather more outlandish was in order for a sightseeing trip in London yesterday.
On a visit to Westminster Abbey she wore a trendy colourful tunic embellished with ribbons and fabric flowers.

Michelle walks with a “gait”. I have seen that “gait” before.
Yje other day I remembered where I saw it. It was a video of an alleged Sasquatch walking near the woods.
i always praise her when she has a good look going on, but that has been so infrequent. she always looks like such a mish-mash, there’s never a flow to her look, it’s not sleek. i think her height has her eschewing any shoes with a heel, so to see the Brits describe this as a PUMP surprised me, as i assumed a pump has at least a semblance of a heel. do the libs [not the press but the people on DU, daily Kos etc.] think this is truly chic? i wonder, bc i never go there. but it seems to me that anyone with two eyes in their head could see this is just a mess.
She looks like someone pulled her out of a dressing room before she had time to complete the wardrobe change.
She always does.
Granted, “fashion” has gone the way of morals, seemingly deemed outdated by the “progressives,” but this is beyond the pale.

A couple of weeks ago, Robin Robinson (yes, that’s her name) from the local Fox station actually tried the belt over the jacket look. She looked just as much of a mental patient as MO does.
Her look is bad on two levels.
She hunches and is uncomfortable in her body and it shows.
She want to be petite and she isn’t. She wants to be young, pre pubescent, and she isn’t. She wants attention.
Her last good look was that black and camel outfit she wore campaigning,,she was fabulous in that. It was elegant.
This is a nine year old fantasy of a little girl who desperately wanted ruffles and pastels an to be adorable.
Yet in the winter she had on sleeveless dresses. So, so weird.
She looks as thought she’s raided Sasha’s closet and found her ‘Kelly Kids’ dress. ;-)
And two sweaters at one time?? Maybe she figures the American people are going to find out what she and Barack really are and boot them out of there, so she's wearing the clothes she likes all at once before they're kicked to the curb?
It's nice for children to be able to see a real life fable as they learn the lesson easier LOL...The Emperor Has No Clothes. Or in this case, too many ugly clothes.
and her girls aren’t even old enough for her to want to be mistaken for their sister. wait til the older one becomes a teenager! i have a HUGE problem with mothers dressing like their daughters. i have a 20 year old and 15 year old and no way do i want to be mistaken for their sister. i don’t shop in their stores or wear their styles because it would be UNSEEMLY.
as others have said, hillary’s nonstop pantsuits are at least age appropriate for her and tailored and sleek. she would, on a rare occasion, attempt to wear some ruffles and it would NOT be a good look on her either. women of a certain age need to steer clear of ruffles and pastels. someone needs to clue michelle in that she is of A CERTAIN AGE now, that ship has sailed.
i live in NoVA and work in DC and i know what the weather was when she was wearing sleeveless and NO ONE was wearing sleeveless during that weather!

I honestly do not understand who is telling her this whole belt thing is a good idea. It bisects her body and puts a HUGE spotlight on her most problematic area.
She should listen to Stacy and Clinton and buy pants that fit the widest part of her body.
Wearing pants that narrow at the ankles makes her hips look even bigger!
