The American Medical Association is shocked and deeply saddened by the murder of Wichita physician, George R. Tiller, MD. Violence is never an acceptable response to resolving the philosophical, moral and ethical differences we may share as a nation. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Dr. Tillers family. We hope that all appropriate local, state and federal authorities will commit themselves fully to bringing the person or persons responsible for this cowardly act to justice.
I am not sad at all. I didn’t wish for his death but his death doesn’t bother me in the least. I am just very happy his family closed that damn place down for good.
Creeps. Are they also outraged by the assassination of an Army recruiter by a muslim?/s
This organization would have supported Hitler !
I agree. And the AMA has no moral ground to stand on. They should change their name to AMTA ie American Medical Technicians of America. They aren’t fit to call themselves doctors or represent doctors.

No they aren’t. All of a sudden we have to hear about Tiller the Killer....That is what he truly was IMHO. He is dead, now lets hope other drs think about his murder before they continue to abort babies. IMHO Tiller was a fool for not stopping after he was shot the first time. He must have been too confident of himself & that isn’t smart when you are a murder of innocent babies.
Too bad they are not shocked and deeply saddened over the murders of all those babies.Their boy got what he deserved, laws be damned.
First do no harm.
Do they have a statement on life?
A doctor wouldn’t have to think about Tiller’s murder. Most real doctors would put their lives on the line to save a life. A doctor would think about the baby and that would be enough.
True.
