Lots of cheap meth is made from cold medicine or used to be. I don't know the situation here, but it wouldn't be the first time someone got rung up on a faulty test.

Aren’t there certain other things that one can ingest that would falsely show up as ‘Meth’ on a drug screen?

Is his car going to be sponsored by a meth lab?

When I worked for a major metropolitan PD, we had a saying...
“Crack don’t smoke itself!”
If he tested positive, it’s because he probably was doing it.

"Arent there certain other things that one can ingest that would falsely show up as Meth on a drug screen? There are. Even common cold medications can sometimes produce a false-positive. However, with the more expensive, two-step testing, that I would presume that NASCAR springs for, it would rare, from what I understand.

I have no idea if this is true, but unfortunately, the last person on earth I’ll ever believe, is a drug addict. Sounds like they got the dope on him.
