The problem with this piece is that the author is hardly objective, him being the Israeli ambassador.

The fact that the Israeli torpedo boats ran right up alongside the Liberty and poured everything they had into to her, even machine gunning the life boats, tells me that the Israeli forces wanted NO survivors who could tell the story.
