because even 5 million is more than FNC. I don’t know...Sarah only had 2 months to go before the entire country and Couric was supposed to be easy. Gibson was the one who challenged Obama on capital gains taxes. McCain was smart enough not to have her go on NBC, especially since Russert was no longer with us.
O’Reilly draws several million viewers nightly if you add together his replays, despite being in many fewer homes than the broadcast networks. And Fox News viewers are much better educated than the broadcast news viewers.
For what it's worth, Chairman MaObama received 69,498,215 votes in the '08 election (the most recent national moron census). ;^)

So Katie is costing CBS at least $3.00 per viewer plus whatever other expenses associated with producing the show versus whatever advertising revenue the show generates. I wonder if Katie is making any money for CBS? How soon before CBS news officially becomes a "State Operated and Controlled Media" source because they need a bailout?

Not that many more: O’Reilly got 4.7 million viewers on Tuesday, combining his first two airings. Americans watched 18 million hours of Fox News between 5 and 12 PM; they watched 2.6 million hours of Katie Couric.
It’s still enough viewers to elect Couric’s candidates.
It was the McPain team who set up that interview to fail, wasn’t it?
