Canadian peace activist James Loney, who was kidnapped and held in Iraq for four months while on a Christian peace mission.
Jeremy Dias, formerly of Sault Ste. Marie, will also hold a session on Canada’s Youth Diversity Initiative. Dias, the executive director and founder of Jers Vision, won Canadas largest human rights settlement. After coming out of high school, Dias faced extreme discrimination by school officials and launched a successful three-year battle against the school and board.
Sean Meades will conduct a workshop will provide educational presentations on issues affecting the gay community.
