I thought the WH issued a statement last Wednesday evening?
It breaks your heart that this young man sought and found a place for himself in the US Army, completed his basic training and volunteered to aid in the recruiting, only to be laid to rest at age 23.
Frankly, I hope the cowardly jihadi con who gunned Pvt Long down has a slow fry on his way to the purported 72 virgins.
Here’s something, haven’t searched for the original article yet...
After 3 days, he issued a half-hearted statement.
Compared to his statement on the Tiller killing, this one might as well have been commenting on a traffic violation. He called it a “senseless act of violence”, thereby completely ignoring and covering up the motives of the shooter.

Very heartwrenching and well written report. Thank you so much for sharing...I’ve thought about Private Long everyday...it’s so heartwarming to hear about the stretch of time when the patriot guards stand as one, and receive the respect from passerbys, and police officers as well. This just makes me furious, that the so-called ‘commander in chief’ of America’s Armed Forces is just way too busy sightseeing all over Europe and can’t be bothered making even a one sentence statement offering condolences to Pvt. Long’s family and friends! >:-(
This better be reiterated again and again and again during the upcoming election cycle!
