A wind power company in southwestern Minnesota has announced it will eliminate 70 jobs this summer with another 90 layoffs possible by the end of September.
According to a letter sent to city officials, Suzlon will make the first round of layoffs at the Pipestone turbine blade plant by Aug. 2. Another 90 job losses will likely be added to that tally.

330 jobs - 90 laid off in September = 240 saved jobs
330 saved jobs + 240 “Saved” jobs = 570 “Saved” jobs

I will take this one step further.
Using your formula...400 people work at the factory initially, 570 saved jobs you figured up equals 170 jobs created. Or even better 400+570 equals 970 jobs created or saved. Maybe I was wrong about this clown we have in charge of the Country.

Great article. I don’t know anything about the economy other than what I learned in my High School econ class, but when I heard 0bama say ‘save or create’ I laughed out loud. Hell, why doesn’t he just come out and say he has saved 10 million jobs since he took office? How could anyone prove him wrong?
Anyone with common sense and was listening to the words should have laughed out loud. I guess that doesn’t include the members of our media news speakers.
