God help them. Seriously. What an unmitigated horror the North Korean concentration camp system is.

As I understand it, these women entered the country illegally. I wish the USA would take notes over their conviction. Now I'm sure there were charges that were trumped up beyond just entering illegally, but I really can't muster up a tear for someone that doesn't respect the rule of law.

There's no rule of law in North Korea, it's run by the whims of a sadistic crime family. You should read up on the horrors of the N. Korean gulag system, the unmitigated sadistic brutality of people who have committed no crime, but are sentenced to a life of misery, starvation, torture, rape, etc., because they are distantly related to someone who was accused of transgressing some made-up law by someone in power and sentenced by a kangaroo court. Everything about N. Korea is antithetical to notions of law and justice, and I should hope that all mankind would shed a tear for those caught in this repressive system.
