Lori, thanks for your rollcall of Financial info daily!
I find it curious why so many Wall Street/Finance/Trading blog sites like Business Insider seem to tout so many anti-business postings on Obummer, GreenCrap, BDS, etc., as well as filthy commenters that sound like KGB wanna-bees?

Your welcome. I found out some things yesterday about henry blodgett I hadn’t known maybe he has a personal grudge to bear?? I find him to be one of the most liberal anti business on the business insider. Today I cam across this article which also mentions him I hadn’t known he had been in trouble and oddest thing is by spitzer you would think he would now know better when even the looney leftist sites are now beginning to whine but lol they even say they will do nothing but whine I guess stupid is as stupid doees.

In its basic shape, the case against Mozilo might seem at first to resemble the case brought by Eliot Spitzer against Henry Blodget, then a stock analyst at Merrill Lynch (MER), which was also based on e-mails in which Blodget expressed qualms about what the bank was doing that were at odds with Merrill’s public statements. But the similarity is superficial. The difference is that Blodget was an analyst involved in a complicated tug of war among the bank’s divisions, genuinely trying to get his colleagues to change their practices. Mozilo, on the other hand, was in charge of the company. So how could Mozilo have such a clear view of what Countrywide was doing wrong and yet let Countrywide keep doing it?

The Democratic Party ignores its left-liberal-progressive base with some regularity because it knows it can. Politicians understand they will suffer no consequences afterward. The galaxy of mediating organizations, including organized labor, that surrounds and supports the party may stomp and holler, but they do not attempt any retribution that might alter their relationship with power. Reform organizations will not withdraw their support, either money or rank-and-file voters. Nor will they seek to punish any of the wayward Democrats who regularly vote against them with opposition at the next election. The “white hat” reformers are Washington insiders themselves, with a seat at the table and influence on the substance of the party’s agenda. They do not want to put their status at risk. Politicians know this from long experience. So do the reformers.
