The concept is, if you can't live together, live separately.

Also, we separate their top-down brainiac Euro-Marxists from control of U.S. institutions and cut off their ability to propagate their B.S., because they would no longer be able to achieve majorities. And of course their New York media would instantly lose their propagation and networking arrangements in the States.

The partition line would run down the New York state line through Lake Champlain (maybe keeping the islands on the U.S. side) to the Croton Reservoir, and then following the river to its outfall into the Hudson, then down the center channel of the Hudson Canyon to the foot of the continental shelf, with Long Island and all of the New York City boroughs except Staten Island being alienated to Connecticut. Connecticut and the rest of New England would simply be out of the Union, adios, don't write, thanks for not phoning, texting, or tweeting.

We keep Ellis and Bedloe's Islands, of course, and West Point and its silver reserves (of course). They get Riker's.

Of course, certain adjustments in equity would need to occur ... such as branding and expelling the entire faculty and student body of Cornell, Princeton, and Georgetown Universities to New England, to be reunited with their Ivy League "peers" (whatever).

And throw in Berkeley, Occidental College, and Duke University (the last to terminate the Yankee interference in North Carolina and grant our Tarheel cousins some relief from the "halfback" invasion).

["Halfback" is Tarheel-speak for Yankees who move down to Florida, decide they don't like Spanish, heat, and jai-alai, and then move "half back", ending up in the Carolinas and Tidewater country.]
