I have never watched Conan even once but knowing he tells Jesus jokes just stopped me from EVER watching him. I watched Sarah Silverman and thought she was fairly funny. The next time I turned her it was a whole show of Jesus jokes. I turned her off and will pass over her ever time, same with that what's her name on the “D list”. Jesus jokes ain't funny guys!

Why not? If you let him up he might kill you...
Conversely, kicking a man while he is down, gives him a reason to get up!

This is the same bastard who on Late Night did a filthy skit on the late JP II. Our family ( and I think all Catholics for sure) should boycott his program.

Sam kinnesen used to tell jesus jokes. They were funny.

Haven't watched TTS since Johnny's last stand. Saw the uberlib lineup Conan had for the virgin week and decided to keep right on not watching.
There's always a test pattern showing somewhere!

I personally always liked conan...although i haven’t seen him in years...i never noticed him to be very political...there is no need to wish him ill...whats the beef with conan?
To: green pastures
"Conan is much worse than Letterman, who is also really crappy..." WOW!
I stand corrected!
To: mamelukesabre
Sam Kennison used to be a preacher and for some reason his Jesus jokes did not offend me, not like Sarah Silverman and the D list b*tch. I miss Sam Kennison.

Conan is the worst interviewer I have ever seen on a major network. He can’t stop himself from mugging and acting zany during every interview; he’s so needy and desperate for attention that he’s painful to watch. He’s a talented writer and his skits are always funny, but I still can’t watch him anymore.

About the only reason I watched NBC was for Leno and I can’t stand Conan O’Brien.
To: Ditter
I think everyone misses him. He was a foul mouthed, lecherous, gluttonous, sloppy, crackpot. But he did these thiings without being offensive somehow. Was that genius? Or was it something else? My view of him was that he was a christian with a grudge against god. He rebelled and was slowly working his way to coming to terms with his anger and was gradually coming back around. Comedy was his way of coping with his grudge and his pain and his anger. He really was funny too.

Everything and everybody is objectionable to someone.
There’s no accounting for taste.
To: PugetSoundSoldier
"They should have put Craig Ferguson in the Tonight Show slot - now hes a riot!"Ferguson is funny, and always looks like he's having fun, which I appreciate. One small problem: he works for the competition, on CBS after Letterman.

I’ve watched maybe 5 minutes of Conan in my entire life.... Conan’s schtick is stupid, boring humor. Not very funny & mostly boring, no matter how much he tries.

“Hes gonna bomb worse than arsenio or gary shandling, and even worse than pat sayjack.”
Here is Rush Limbaugh serving as fill in host for Pat Sajak’s night show, they had to empty the studio.

I felt the same about SK, that he would find his way back to God someday. His anger seemed mostly directed toward women, wives/girlfriends not God. I always figured that he was attracted to the wrong kind of women and his relationships didn't work out.

Why does anyone want Conan to fail? Seems to me he is pretty funny.

I liked Leno. I just wish some of his comedic treatments for politicians were equal.
But what I liked about him was his work ethic and that he never seemed to become a part of Hollywood. He didn’t get involved in causes and the typical nonsense.
I understand he has gotten involved with the preservation of WWII aircraft. Thats what I heard but don’t know for certain.
