The Constitution is silent on mechanism for proving place of birth.
It appears possible Chester Arthur, 19th century president, was actually born a few miles inside Canada. If true, nobody cared at the time.
That was then, this is now. Chester Arthur wasn’t a marxist, socialist pig trying to destroy our country. We need that birth certificate asap!

The Twentieth Amendment, Section 3 reads as follows:
" ”3. If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.”
This passage CLEARLY says two things.
1. The "President elect has the burden of proving himself "eligible", in other words, meets "qualifications" to serve as President. This means his birth certificate has to include sufficient information to prove his age, 35, and his citizenship status at birth. If he claims to be a natural born citizen, this must be proven to be so by the evidence he is forced to present.
2. Since it is "the Congress" who must react to whether or not this has been done, in order to know whether or not to name a replacement, he, the President elect, must prove his qualifications to them (Congress). The Congress (all members) are oath bound to support the Constitution, so any one of them can demand to see this "evidence" at any time.
If he has not done this, he cannot be President and if he is allowed to continue to act as a President without having done so, our elected officials should be taken to court and charged with breaking their oath of office to the Constitution, or perhaps treason.
Actually, people did care. The question of Artie’s birth was pursued with determination.

I see. So I suppose that we shouldn’t care now either, even though this bast*rd behaves EXACTLY like the kind of POTUS that Article II. Sec. I, clause 5 of the constitution was designed to prevent. A POTUS born with a multiplicity of citizenships whose first allegiances seem to be with other than the best interests of the US, and apparently is hell bent upon destroying it’s traditional constitutional forms of governance.....
