There are “federal requirements” that simply pertain the the format of an electronic facsimile (certification) of a birth certificate.
In this context the phrase “Federal Requirements” is a term that simply pertains to the structure the form, and is not being extended to all things pertaining to identity. There are different “Federal Requirements” for different things. Examples include applications for passports and security clearances. Each of these items have very different standards. Another example is eligibility to hold office of the POTUS - yet very different from the first two.
The alleged statement by the Hawaiian official pertained to the standards for the structure of the Cert of Live Birth form. It was not in relation to the federal standards to be eligible to hold office of the POTUS, a passport, security clearance,...etc.

That’s basically what I would think. But, then again, I don’t think this hunt for Obama’s birth certificate is going to go anywhere, anyway.
I think the best solution for this problem (of documentation) is for the states to enact laws to require the specific document before being put on the ballot. Several states are already doing that now. That’s everyone’s answer to this problem.

Well, you’re probably right — that it’s not going to go away — it’s just that I don’t think it’s going to make any difference in how things are turning out and who is President and what’s going on in real life. But, you’re probably right — it’s not going away...
This “person” is of zero value (and it's actually a “she”).
She has no controlling legal authority to reveal any details beyond whatever may have already been released publicly via the “Certification of Live Birth”, assuming that it was not a forged document.
Millions of Americans are asking for the original birth records to be unsealed. His lawyers have, and continue to fight tooth and nail at each court battle to block the release of these records.
You should be demanding the same.

Well, while I wouldn’t say that you are wrong in that assessment as far as what would happen... where I say you’re wrong is in that it *will* happen with a court order. That is what is going nowhere and has been that way from the beginning of this whole thing...
What *will* go somewhere — though — are those state laws requiring documentation before someone can be put on the ballot.
In the one instance (of getting a court to do that) it’s an “iffy” situation and not guaranteed at all.
But, in the other instance of that state law, there are already three states that I know of moving on that right now. So, that’s not so “iffy” you see...
Translation: "We destroyed the evidence."
