Patriot Room ^ | June 6, 2009 | Bill Dupray

From Harry Reid to Obama:

Closing these dealerships will put over 100,000 jobs at risk at a time when our country is shedding jobs at an alarming rate. We also question the criteria being used to determine which dealerships should be closed and the fundamental fairness involved in this effort. It is our view that the market rather than leaving it up to the manufacturers whose poor leadership contributed to their demise. . . .

So does this mean Dingy Harry figured out these are blatantly political closures and doesn’t want to get busted?

Some of the Demonkat congresscritters are starting to find that this Chairman O shiite is even a bit to far to the Left for even their smarmy tastes.

Chairman O has now appointed 21 czars in his six months in office. They were not confirmed by the legislature nor questioned by the state-run media, and answer to no one except the Chairman.

Even if the government didn’t own GM or Chrysler, how could it prevent dealer closures due to lack of demand? Ford closed a bunch of dealers simply because no one was buying? Is the government considering keeping these dealers afloat artificially?

Are the meetings of the czars subject to FOIA, Open Meetings Act, or ‘transparency rules’. or will they always remain in the Marxist shadows? How are they funded?

Here is a question none have posed to BO, GM and Chrysler. Auto sales were quite only a couple of years ago with big numbers of new vehicles hitting the streets. Many people take there car or trucks to the dealer when they are still under warranty even for basic service. I know I do. I don’t to give them any reason for denying warranty coverage if a major problem occurs.

The question, how are the people going to be able to get the millions of vheicles serviced in a timely manner with the closing of the thousands of dealerships including service centers around the country? Somehow I don’t think that BO and company didn’t think about the logistics in doing this. We are going to end up with more vehicles on the road not getting the necessary maintenance, therefore putting out more polution than ever in the air. And guess what! its going to affect those that put this clown in office just as bad as those that tried to keep him out.

I get pictures in my head the USA looking like the old soviet union where people couldn’t get replacement parts for their few cars that they had. Whats next BO, bread lines? he already said we couldn’t eat as much as we wanted.

Arugula lines. served in salads, pastas, and pizzas. Michelle to serve.

Reminiscent of ‘Let them eat Cake.’

Unless Obama is going to bail out the Democratic Senators' campaign funding...

Here's the text of the full letter from Politico, Dems express 'growing concern' . Politico says it was House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer and Reps. Chris Van Hollen and Daniel Maffei who have circulated this letter today.

Interesting allegations by Hoyer et al in the letter. They are even threatening legislation. Hmmmm.

How stupid is Harry Reid, didn't he get the message from the White House that they aren't choosing the closing dealerships, Chrysler is doing that... Unless the Obama is lying to us.

Who to believe, Harry Reid or the Obama...

The “free market” ended when the government took over GM and Chrysler.
