My mother is a psychopath. She is currently living in my home, and I have to lock my bedroom door every time I leave the house.
I would kill myself if the government forced me to take care of her. Yes, I am trying to get her to move out.
I have in-laws who provided bare basic care for my husband. Seriously. My MIL, a nurse, worked long enough every year to pay the bills in her Florida cracker house that should have been demolished. She barely kept food in the house and never bought them new clothes. Forget nurturing or love. She is from Thailand and they were her ticket into this country.
Neither one of them has any positive attributes. I'd leave the country before I let them suck me dry.
