They look like a married couple who can’t stand each other.
Every time an American woman puts a rag on her head “out of respect”, they win. That’s what runs thru my girly brain every time I see the reporters/govt reps (same thing I guess) and it makes me wince.
If I were a Muslim, I’d be LMAO at our willingness to comply; it makes us appear even weaker...
It’s one thing to cover your head in a mosque/temple/holy place, and quite another to cover up because as a woman, you are just another possession; like the movie “Soylent Green” where women were called “furniture” and came with the apartment.
Why didn’t Michelle go on this trip? She could have started a whole new line of head-rags with J.CREW....would sell like hotcakes. Maybe the new ACORN look?
I completely agree. I have no love lost for Hillary Rodham Clinton, but I'm appalled that my Secretary of State put a mark of ownership over her head. It's un-American. It demeans her and demeans us all.
I would prefer for her to be demeaned here, in the comfort and security of her own country, under our terms. Not demeaned by limp wristed dervishes and tinhorn desert aristocrats. Sad to say, but she deserves better than this. Any American should be free from the need to kneel before kings and submit to the medieval whims of barbarian custom.

ANY American-even Hillary-should not submit to their “women are nothing” Muslim customs. I cannot stand to see it. It really makes my blood boil...even when the media does it, I can’t stand it!
But I have to say, it really did bother me more to see OUR Sec of State submit. They’d have to tie me up and staple the thing to my head to get me to wear it! (of course they might like that!)
So far it appears that they are winning...SZQ
