"Many object to the words -- La Raza -- which translate into English as “The Race.” However, La Raza counters that the word, basically, just means “The People.”

"The People" my @$$:

The same dictionary translated "the people" as "la gente" and their (LA RAZA's) alternate false alibi "the community" as "la comunidad." Neither gives "la raza" as another translation.

Thanks for the information!

Another ‘spin’ is the ‘cosmic’ people...whech is kinda cool if you’re ‘in’(Latino/Hispanic) but if you’re ‘out’ — where does that leave you?

How do you top or equal the ‘cosmic’ man?

Sounds a lot like Hitler’s (unoriginal)idea of a supperior race, doesn’t it?
