“Last week, a doctor was shot while attending church services in Wichita. There have been church shootings throughout the country”.
Yep. Your right. And there have been “school shootings” and “gas station” shootings and just every kind of “shootings” imaginable. Just imagine, only a few decades ago, I used to take my deer rifle to school with me, along with ammunition, and keep it in my locker until after school. So did a lot of other kids that were hunters. Funny thing though, we never “brandished” our firearms. We never even thought about shooting anyone, and nobody particularly thought we were unusual. High schools used to have pretty darn nice shooting teams. People used to have common sense and take responsibility for their actions. Somewhere along the line, people started getting indignant about everything and insisting on passing laws against every form of behavior they didn’t like. Except of course they are against laws prohibiting behavior that used to be considered immoral.
