I suspect that outside of leftist University towns in NH, you’re going to see a big buyers’-remorse backlash in the upcoming elections. We hold general elections every two years here, even for the Governor’s office.

Already two Republicans have won victories over Democrats in special elections. A Democrat, apparently violating the Hatch Act, just won another seat on Tuesday in a leftist university town, but it didn’t change parties.
