People have gone soft.

That's really what I was getting at. Some people are going to die and there's no way around that. Then there are those who simply want to die because they can't cope.

Its a slippery slope that leads to situations like Europe where you can have a limb amputated for no other reason than wanting it amputated. A child can be killed simply because the parent doesn't want to "suffer" with a child who is deformed or mentally retarded.
