Joe believes the right needs to shut up and appease the liberal North East if we want to be politically successful in the future.
Joe's quote above, that George W. Bush was an ideologue *too far to the right* pretty much sums up his position. I provided the translation furnished below his picture.
(Sorry I can't post video.)
What do you say? Do Joe, Mika, Willy, Barnicle, et. al. have our best interest at heart?
Shall we stop being conservative in order to win votes?
Liberals hate Bush for two reasons:
a) He ‘stole’ the election with the help of his dad’s friends.
b) He’s a Christian.
The rest is blather.

Yesterday Joe was praising Colon Powell.
Joe is selling a book. This is about the book book book book, the book.
He is a fraud and not to be trusted.
Bush was the 'compassionate conservative'. He's the one who turned over education reform to Ted Kennedy. He's the one who pushed expanding entitlements with Medicare Part D prescription drugs. He's the one who pushed amnesty for illegal invaders.
What exactly did Bush do that was right wing or too conservative? I'd like to know.
He makes good conservative arguments when he's actually arguing with a liberal but he spends the rest of the time essentially saying that conservatives are losers.
Or maybe Joe is scared that if he doesn’t bash repubs and conservatives, Queef Ogerman and Chrissy “I pissy i my panties when I think about Obama” Matthews will rape him in the MSNBC showers.
Look at Joe! If his IQ is higher than 60, I’d be stunned. We can still make use of him though. We just take his advice and do the opposite since he is not smart enough to do anything other than repeat what his PMSNBC Libtards say. Truth is, they are frightened to death of Vice Pres. Cheney, Mr. Limbaugh, Dr. Levin and other true conservatives and are doing everything they can to stop this train before it leaves the station.
Exactly.
Hey, Joe, name one actual position that W was too to far right on...???
The elections of 1932, 1936, 1940, 1944, 1948, 1960, 1964 and 1976 all proved “decisively” that conservatives could never win again. If we had only listened to Nelson Rockefeller....
Ann Coulter makes the same point again and again. Flimsy conservatives run to the left and cry when an election is in jeopardy then they lose that election.
Stay conservative and win. History proves it as you point out.
You mean MSNBC is still broadcasting?!
Now mandated sponsored by the White House.
MSNBC is Barack Obama’s Sham-wow guy. But all Obama sucks up is attention and power. Nothing feels clean after he’s done.
Actually, I kind of like morning Joe. They do swing too far left sometimes, but they also prevent a somewhat fair representation of conservative issues. This morning they were discussing how card check would be disastrous for America. So there’s a mix of good and bad, but I think it is the best morning show.
(Although I'm sure you meant *present* a somewhat fair representation ;0)
I watch it every morning. Fox & Friends is too saccharine for me. I like the debate and, as I said above, Joe often makes good conservative arguments. I would not watch the show if he were to leave (which is speculation for another thread.)
But when Joe hammers conservatives to ingratiate himself with his employer (something he denies he does) or if he is genuinely stating his position I cannot stand by when people from all sides - especially Republicans - are saying "STOP BEING CONSERVATIVE IF YOU WANT TO SUCCEED." So I'm calling him out on this (not that he'll respond.)
Conservatism works. Liberalism or worse, lukewarm RINOism only works in the absence of strong conservative leadership.
LOL! I never watch MSNBC....along with the other 9/10 of America....
Sorry Joe, but you’ve become a REAL embarrassment to NW Florida. Maybe you’d like to tag along with Gov Charline on a junket to Key West.
Scarborough tries to straddle the political fence. One day he claims to be a conservative republican, the next he’s an Obama cheerleader. I have little respect for someone who does that.
