A Yemeni captive died in an apparent suicide at the detention center for foreign terrorism suspects at the Guantanamo Bay U.S. naval base in Cuba, the U.S. military said on Tuesday.
It was the sixth death overall and the fifth by suicide among captives at the prison camp that U.S. President Barack Obama has ordered shut down by January 2010.
The camp, opened in 2002 under the Bush administration to hold suspects in the wake of the September 11 attacks on the United States in 2001, has been a focus of international criticism for denying detainees legal rights.
The Obama administration is still considering what to do with the 239 remaining captives held at Guantanamo, who include nearly 100 Yemenis.

An autopsy was pending and a "cultural adviser" was ensuring that his body was being treated respectfully and in accordance with Muslim tradition, the U.S. military said.

I ain’t got no serious heartburn with it
Couldn’t wait for his 72 virgins
Obama’s fault.
“But..but we haven’t had our espresso!”
Obama will no doubt race to the cameras, and mourn the loss of this poor muslim.
Meanwhile, he says nothing about the US Army Private, gunned down by a domestic muslim terrorist.
He’s probably busy mourning the loss of Tiller the Killer.
Obama’s fault
Move along, folks. Nothing to see other than a dead dirt bag-which I can care less.
So the lap top did come with VISTA.
Whew! He’s had a very emotional week already.
None here either.

At the rate of 5 every 7 years, they should all have committed suicide by the year 2344.
Best news I have had all day!
They need more rope IMO.
Hmm, apparently, this individual fails at martyrdom.
Obama’s fault!
Buh-bye. Say hi to Osama for me, ‘k?
It’s ok to send him back Yemen now.
