The death of 67-year old George Tiller was unacceptable, but equally disgusting was another death that police believe was politically and religiously motivated as well.
William Long died yesterday.
The 23-year old Army Recruiter was gunned down by a fanatic; another fellow soldier was wounded in the ambush. The soldiers had just completed their basic training and were talking to potential recruits, just as my son, Track, once did.
Whatever titles we give these murderers, both deserve our attention. Violence like that is no way to solve a political dispute nor a religious one. And the fanatics on all sides do great disservice when they confuse dissention with rage and death.”

We live, mentally, in one America, liberals live in another. Would be nice if it would be geographic as well.
These recruiters were doing the same thing that my son did when he got out of basic. The Marines put him to work at the local recruiting station, doing Recruiting Assistance for the 2 weeks he was home after Boot Camp. I remember how glad I was that he was home for those short weeks, and didn’t worry about his safety. I feel terrible for the families of these young men.
It seems that once again Governor Palin is an American political servant that understands the events and issues in the same frame of mind as the average joe on the street.
While I am sure she has some staff help, we have millionaire Senators with giant media teams and past candidates with savvy to these instances who still can’t make up their minds as to what position to take, and yet it is an Alaska politician that cuts to the heart of the issue every time.
Will liberals be as outraged over the American soldier being killed as they are about Tiller?

Remeber right after the buildings dropped on Manhattan, public service commercials showing celebs wrapped in flags told us not to hate Islam, hollywood told us we were haters and had to stop all our hate against muslims and the Nation of Islam was on Cspan spouting its venom about how bad was the USA? Remember, the libs were in a dither after 911 about the show of unity and USA flags?
The hatred of our country is so ingrained in libs, so deep into people’s ideas that logic cannot even budge it.

No, they also will brush aside any questions about Bill Ayers' terrorist background. Apparently a murder is only worthy of outrage if the victim is a politically-correct liberal or has a connection with a liberal agenda. All murders should spark outrage, but apparently not for liberals: Item:

...recruiting centers aren’t usually in military posts. The shootings could endanger those not in the Army yet. Save the abortionist, screw the evil military. No tears from the press or libs about the military, 21 gun salutes for the abortion Dr. Get it?!
