I am still amazed he had such a standing in a church to have a position, even an usher. I think a church should welcome anyone and most do, but to be given a position while doing something like abortion for a living is incredible to me.

When liberals say "desperate" they don't mean desperate enough to break out a 75 cent condom. They mean desperate to get back to the party scene.
Here is another idea. If you are not willing to accept the responsibility of of a child. Don't have sex at all. The ability to remain celibate is not impossible and in many cases would be the best situation.
Responsibility is the entire point. Actions have consequences. If you become pregnant and can not afford the child. Give it up for adoption. The idea that it would be better to abort a child then allow a person other than the birth mother to raise them is narcissism writ large.
