...so we shouldn't be surprised that so many Americans expect to be rewarded for failure.

Saw an ad on FaceBook yesterday that summed this up pretty nicely--an ad for government bailout money to single moms that had credit card debt of $10K or more. Two acts of irresponsibility right there.

Too many people mix up character with “personality”. There are many, many people in the world with exceptional character but have the personalities of a dish towel. By the same token there are people out there with wonderful “personalities”, the gift of gab, and tragically cool with no character or values at all.
