Doubt it. WHY would the rest of the world agree? All it will be is a way for the rest of the world to get stuck with US debt under-the-cover of a different blanket. Don’t understand why anyone else would think this such a “good idea”
I think it would be great to have some new shoddy currency kicking around. Instead of having to print dollars to pay our debts, we could just print that one and hand it out (sort of like North Korea does to our currency). Presumably the rest of the world would catch on after a while but it would be fun while it lasts.
