Oh, please. The Diocese of Galveston lists 41 separate Catholic schools. The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod lists 10 parochial schools in Houston. There are at least 10 Baptist schools in Houston.

All of these churches allow as members only folks who can fork over $9,000 a year for tuition? Wow!

I have thought long and hard about whether to have my child (my wife is 6 months along with our first) educated in or out of government school (My wife is a government school teacher, FYI). I believe that I will homeschool or send her to private school, but I do NOT agree that believers should so quickly abandon the government school system. Until a few decades ago it was not the hostile territory it is now and for us to just give it over for Satan to have full access to most of our country’s children (think Perretti’s Piercing The Darkness) cannot be the correct course of action if we have any hope of saving this country from falling headlong into an unstoppable moral decadence.
