Over the past fifteen years, between my wife and I, we have purchased four Suburbans and three Silverados. But, no more.

You should read the book “Japan, INC”. It explains how Japan targets an industry that it wants to destroy for it’s own gain. The electronics industry is an example. Now China and Korea (to a much lesser extent) are doing to Japan what they did to the USA. You may not be old enough but I remember when “Made in Japan” meant crap.
