WASHINGTON, D.C. (BNO NEWS) -- President Obama released the following statement on the murder of Dr. George Tiller on Sunday.
"I am shocked and outraged by the murder of Dr. George Tiller as he attended church services this morning. However profound our differences as Americans over difficult issues such as abortion, they cannot be resolved by heinous acts of violence."

I am not aware of ANY FReeper calling for the murder of George Tiller. That being said, an unrepentant murderer DOES NOT somehow deserve sympathy because they themselves are murdered.
Please explain, though I doubt you are capable of genuine logic, why Tiller somehow deserves sympathy.

I would be amenable to his killing, if it had been by a family member just as the doctor was preparing to murder one of their relatives.
As it stands, I have trouble with his killing while at church. Even in the ELCA, there’s the possibility there that he could have heard the word of God and repented of this heinous sin.
In fact, the killing being in a church makes me wonder about what truly motivated his killer. There’s something about it being in a church that makes me suspicious about any Christian sentiments that might be expressed by his killer. It’s almost as if staged.
Make no mistake, though, I do consider Tiller a murderer.

I don’t know, maybe it’s just me but it seems odd he would issue a statement on this at all, much less so quickly and on a weekend. I mean, was this guy really seen as that big of a hero to these people that it justifies a press release from the POTUS?
I agree, it is wrong, and shooting someone in a Church is a crime in itself. It is an act of desectration - and also - how terrible for the other members of the congregation.

I suspect this was a political killing set up by the left. This shooter has been in trouble with the law before and that will help to mitigate some of the BS that is coming our way.
Yes, you obey the law. Not to do so is anarchy. We have laws against murder. The laws against murder are not immoral. I understand you equate abortion with murder and so do I. Unfortunately abortion, especially late term, is not against the law...yet.
