First, I don’t see the connection between your post and mine. I’ll answer your question, but I would like you to answer mine, which I’ll rephrase as: Do you believe the conspirators against Hitler were morally justified?

Now, to YOUR question: Is the pro-life movement at war with everyone who has an opposing view?

If by “at-war,” you mean actual violent war with “everyone who has an opposing view,” the answer is no. But there are two problems with your question.

First, Tiller wasn’t just someone with an “opposing view.” Those who support him are people with “opposing views.” HE, on the other hand, is a person who committed genocide. Quite different from a mere ideological adversary, I would say. So to be “at-war” with HIM isn’t to be at war with a person with a mere opposing view.

Second, if you DON’T mean actual violent war, but rather something less...than indeed what would be the point of being a part of a “pro-life movement” that wan’t at-war with those who are pro-abortion?

So, then, by your reasoning, it is morally justifiable to take the life of every doctor who performs abortion, particularly those who celebrate late term abortions. Tiller may be gone, but there are, undoubtedly, thousands of other doctors who perform the same thing. Should they, too, be murdered?

And yes, I totally get equating the millions of babies killed with the actions of Hitler. But its apples and oranges.
