My initial response to this was that Obama would use it as an excuse to open the floodgates for abortion, like the Nazis used the death of Horst Wessel.
But then I was reminded of the moral of an Aesop fable: “The tyrant needs no excuse.” Which in retrospect, should have had the axiom, “But will use any excuse they can get.”
How much more open can the flood gates be? The US has the most liberal abortion posture in the entire world already.
