Yes, upthread someone said Tiller’s previous church, which was LCMS, excommunicated him.
Strange that he felt a need to join another Lutheran Church, however liberal.
But then Wichita had another infamous killer, Dennis Rader, who was a faithful member of a Lutheran congregation.
I believe that church was ELCA as well and he was an elder, not a Pastor.
But, my rememberer isn’t as good as it used to be!
