I’m going to get attacked for the following, but here goes:
1. I am not religious at all.
2. I do not think abortion is right(yes, I made my own mind up on this decision-—without spiritual guidance).
3. However, for those of you who are Christians, here is where I do not understand your position: Clearly, without a doubt, killing someone on the street is murder. But, if you really believe that abortion equates to the murder of unborn children, would you not do everything in your power to stop a person who performs abortions? If an unborn child in the womb equates to a child on the playground-—why wouldn’t you, with great haste, kill the person who performs abortions-—like you would a madman on the playground hacking kids with a machete?
Might I add; A whole lot of us are fed up with our Congressmen ‘playing nice’.
Well, a whole lot of Freepers on this thread are just ‘playing nice’ so we don’t get wacked by the Leftists.
Not any different.
I guess you would if you were a killer and didn’t mind the penalty that we as a society will demand.
I don’t see any shortage of so called Christians thinking this is a good thing,,it sickens me.
To support the cold blooded murder outside the law of any human being is just wrong.
The law will handle this killer.
The law and fear of incarceration is what keeps most of us in check.
If I saw a man on the street kicking a preggers lady in the gut I would use all means including lethal to stop him.
If she and he in a docter’s office decide to kill the baby then the las says it’s ok with her consent.
Doesn’t change much except the motivation.
This is what makes abortion so heinous. Culture won’t protect their spawn, it ain’t worth saving.
This is exactly where the abortion reasoning will take the pro-lifer if they're at all honest, if they really believed that it was murder, then why don't they act like it?
So when an individual acts like it was murder, the pro-life movement goes through palpitations.
I thought the Bible was explicit when it says there is no greater love than of a man who lays down his life for another, well this guy appears to have done exactly that.
I also understand that we must play politics with this issue.
The public is not ready for that logical extension, and most of us are smart enough not to fall into that trap.
