According to the scriptures,there is a blessing on those who bless Israel, and an curse to those who curse her.
In light of this knowledge, take a good look at all the Arab nations surrounding Israel today. Their nations are wealthy, but their people live in poverty, and are uncivilized. Their religion teaches no tolerance of any sort, and their leader use their religion as a means to control the populace.
To the causal observer one could certainly say their condition is not one of being blessed?
If God has not shown mercy to them for the thousands of years of Jew hating, how can we think we will escape his wrath if we turn our backs on Israel?

Yep! Genesis 12:2-3. God promised Abraham and descendants. "I will make you a great nation: I will bless you and make your name great. And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and I will curse him who curses you: And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."
