I think we overlook how horrible a candidate McCain was. I had three members of my family vote for Obama and it was more a vote against McCain. McCain killed us.
The choice was to vote for a crazy person or to vote for a communist.
Obama must be one heck of a speech-reader. Fortunately, I’ve never heard the guy speak, so I’m not fooled one bit.
Of course he was a horrible candidate, and we only have the GOP to blame for letting media select him.
Still, we had no other choice but to vote for him, imbecile that he is; as were /are the people around him that wrote his speeches, managed his campaign and advised him. NONE of them paid any attention to what the general public republican voter base was saying.
McCain was hand picked by the MSM to be a dupe for the election. I never got the impression that he had any desire to win.
I'm sorry but that is nonsense. It was clear during the campaign who Obama was and what he was going to do. It was equally clear who McCain was and while McCain wasn't by any means who I would have picked as the Republican candidate, that is what he was. In any event the choice was between McCain and a leftist/racist. McCain didn't make them vote for Obama.
However, the meltdown of the financial markets may have clouded the issues and PO'd folks enough to allow the unthinkable to happen and that should be investigated as to weather it was, in any part, due to artificial manipulation for political purposes.
you're telling us that they would have supported a real social conservative but since one wasn't running they opted for a far left radical instead?
man, must be one weird family when it comes to logic discussions..
I agree with you about McCain. I was so mad at him when he voted for the tarp. But as mad as I was with McCain, there was no way in hell I’d vote for Barry.
I hope that they are happy now.
