American capitalism gone with a whimper

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.

Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?

I couldn't help but share this. While the author is perhaps a little braggadocios of how they cast off Communism, it seems as though they have a pretty good take on what's happening inside our own borders these days.

They’re missing one fact. The mass purchase of artillery by private citizens.

This didn’t occur during Communist Russia. Our outcome will be deliciously different than theirs.

It is right on. There has never, in the history of the world, been a nation so self-destructive as The United States. Never hs it been sadder, either.

Pretty sad when Pravda is more objective and accurate then almost every newspaper in the USA. The only good U.S. paper is IBD. The WSJ sucks any more.

The UK Telegraph is probably the best in the world.

You cannot remove capitalism... you can only put it into hiding.

Laws are only as good as the government’s ability to enforce them.

Do you really think so? I see nothing but public apathy and continuing media adoration of Zero. There is no visible opposition, no demonstrations, no public disturbances. The tea parties were too polite to be even taken seriously by the media. There is no real outrage, just resigned acceptance. This is a bloodless coup which has been achieved with an ease beyond the wildest dreams of the Imposter in the White House. The revolution has been cancelled due to lack of interest.

I wonder, I really do...let me ask you: are you ready to die, or go to prison for the rest of your life, when the bastards knock on your door demanding your guns? Are you really?

Like the article said... Americans care more about who wins American Idol than they do about what goes on in Washington. Then the majority of the half that do care are not knowledgable or educated enough to understand what is going on.

There was a survey several years ago done where 1/3rd of high school seniors did not know who won the American Civil War. That’s how bad the situation is... And those seniors that dont know graduated and are voters today.

The left-wing won the battle of education many years ago. We are now finally seeing the results of that battle.

I’ve already died. Twice. On the surgery table. After having had an attempt on my life.

I would do it with ease. I fear the tyranny on my children far more than losing my own life, if it came to that.

Ready to throw down on this kind of hardware?

Anyway...we missed the revolution...It's a done deal. You can die or learn to live with it as you always have.

THE REVOLUTION WAS

Until it was too late few understood one like Julius C. Smith, of the American Bar Association, saying: "Is there any labor leader, any businessman, any lawyer or any other citizen of America so blind that he cannot see that this country is drifting at an accelerated pace into administrative absolutism similar to that which prevailed in the governments of antiquity, the governments of the Middle Ages, and in the great totalitarian governments of today? Make no mistake about it. Even as Mussolini and Hitler rose to absolute power under the forms of law... so may administrative absolutism be fastened upon this country within the Constitution and within the forms of law."

For a significant illustration of what has happened to words — of the double meaning that inhabits them — put in contrast what the New Deal means when it speaks of preserving the American system of free private enterprise and what American business means when it speaks of defending it. To the New Deal these words — the American system of free private enterprise — stand for a conquered province. To the businessman the same words stand for a world that is in danger and may have to be defended. The New Deal is right.

Business is wrong.

You do not defend a world that is already lost. When was it lost? That you cannot say precisely. It is a point for the revolutionary historian to ponder. We know only that it was surrendered peacefully, without a struggle, almost unawares. There was no day, no hour, no celebration of the event — and yet definitely, the ultimate power of initiative did pass from the hands of private enterprise to government.

There it is and there it will remain until, if ever, it shall be reconquered. Certainly government will never surrenders without a struggle.

I see it this way. Capitalsim isn't a system. It is absence of a system. Zero (or anyone else) can't "make capitalism" go away anymore than he can make a vaccuum go away. Zero and his minions can do whatever they damn well please. Whatever they can get away with. Whatever the traffic will bear. In the end it will fail. Then there will be capitalism again. They well may wreck 200 years of progress in the effort but in the end there will be survivors, dirt to stand on, and a will to be free. And capitalism. The law of the jungle and the Serengetti. Be fast or die. Kill or starve. That is capitalsim. The only "system" that works.
