Obama's Uncle: He's Using Buchenwald for Political Purpose

Barack Obama's great uncle offered some blunt language as to why his nephew is visiting the memorial at the former Buchenwald concentration camp next week during his trip to Europe and the Middle East.

“This is a trip that he chose, not because of me I'm sure, but for political reasons,” Charles Payne told the German magazine Spiegel. “Perhaps his visit also has something to do with improving his standing with (German Chancellor) Angela Merkel. She gave him a hard time during his campaign and also afterwards.”

I know there was some talk about how Obama fudged this but was there ever any reporting about how his Uncle stated that Obama never talked or asked him about his WW2 experience?

Is this just another example of how the media just decided to let Obama have a free pass because they wanted him as President and didn't want to anything to derail him?

I was quite surprised when the whole thing came up and Barack talked about my war experiences in Nazi Germany,” Payne said. “We had never talked about that before.”

Obama had never talked with his uncle about the experience he used in a speech. Of course not, Obama had zero interest in his uncle, but just had heard a story he could use to his benefit. It's always, all about Barack and no one and nothing else.

”Payne said. “Of course it came out immediately that he was wrong since there are enough people in America who know that Auschwitz is in the East and that the camp was liberated by the Red Army.”

Obama understands little about American history. All his affirmative action education never taught him that the Russians drove the Germans from Poland. Most likely he knew neither where Auschwitz was located, nor which nation liberated that death camp. And, out of ignorance, he put his uncle at the most famous camp to spike the story further.
